  We Have Our Logo! We are excited to announce that our official logo has been selected! A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the selection process, your votes and feedback made this possible. We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the talented contributors who shared their creative designs. Your effort, imagination, and artistry truly inspired us, and we’re grateful for your contributions. Special thanks to  Kumi Matsukawa  san for supporting us. We will be uploading our official logo soon. Congratulations and thank you  Hiromi Ishii  san and  Keiko Tomita  san for designing our official logo!

 We are thrilled to announce that our Urban Sketchers chapter has officially been recognized! This is a proud moment for all of us, and it wouldn’t have been possible without urban sketchers' incredible enthusiasm, creativity, and support.   What is Urban Sketchers Manifesto? The Urban Sketchers’ Manifesto 1 Excerpt from The Art of Urban Sketching, book written by Gabriel Campanario 1 Gabriel Campanario, The Art of Urban Sketching-Drawing on location around the world : First Published in 2012 by Quarry Books, an imprint of The Quarto Group. 1. We draw on location, indoors or outdoors, capturing what we see from direct observation. Urban sketching is a raw and pure form of art that requires drawing from life, rather than from photographs or the imagination. In most cases, urban sketching is practiced on the street.       Urban Sketchers Kanagawa 海老名駅  2025.3.18   Ebina Station Sketch Meetup March 18th, 2025   Urban Sketchers Kanagawa held an impromptu sketch meetup at Ebina Station. We met at 10:30 a.m. JR Ebina Station. We had an early thowdown at 12 noon, Kumi San and Kimiko San were leaving early.  Post lunch, we continued sketching at Kanagawa Prefectural Sagami Sansen Park about 15 minutes from  Ebina Station.     日比谷花壇大船フラワーセンター 2025.2.28   Hibiya Kadan Ofuna Flower Center 28th, 2025 Urban Sketchers of Kanagawa met at JR Ofuna Station at the South exit.
